Moffat is a small town in the South West of England and it’s located just outside of Dumfries. It has a population of around 10,000 people and it’s known for its agricultural industry as well as its coal mining history. The town was originally founded by the Romans back in the 1st century AD, but it didn’t really start to grow until after World War II when there were many military personnel stationed here due to its close proximity to RAF Lakenheath. There are also a number of smaller businesses operating within the local area including restaurants, cafes and hotels.
